Getting started with Advanced Product Descriptions
Setting up Advanced Product Descriptions app is easy, you can get up and running in just a few simple steps.
After installing, the first thing you will have to do is select a plan. You can choose between the Free and Premium plans. Find the plan that best fits your needs and press the corresponding button at the bottom of the page.
Once you have selected a plan you’ll be directed to the installation page. Advanced Product Descriptions requires a minor edit to your theme to function properly. We recommend backing up your theme first before installing it to your selected theme.
We may highly suggest using the auto-installer for most themes.
Once the installer completes press the Continue button. If the installer fails, please follow the manual installation instructions which can be found just below the Auto Installer.
After pressing continue you’ll be directed to the main settings page. This page contains all the default global settings for your descriptions. Here you can change colors and select your description style.
Now that you’re configured let's create a description. Navigate to the Product page and select any product where you wish to add a description. From here click the “more actions” button and find Edit advanced description.
This will take you to the Description Editor page where you can manage your advanced description. On the left, you’ll find product level settings as well as a reordering too. On the right, you’ll see editors for your different sections.
Once completed press the save button on the top right. That’s it! You’ve just created your first advanced description. You may visit your product page to see it in action.
