Getting started with Help Center HQ
Now that you have installed our app, you’re ready to start building your help center. HelpHQ's help center is made up of Collections and Articles. A Collection will hold a group of related Articles.

Creating Collections
If you are new to our app, you can create your first collection by clicking the Create Collection button on the welcome screen of the app's dashboard.
If you already have some collections and want to add a new one, click the big "+" plus button on the upper right side of any of the app's dashboard tabs and then click on New Collection.
Clicking any of these options will take you to the Collection Creator page. Here, you can enter your collection details and select an icon to represent your collection. Click the Save Changes button on the right once finished.
Now that we have a collection created, you’re ready to add your first help article.

Creating Articles
To create a new article, click the big "+" plus button on the upper right side of any of the app's dashboard tabs and then click on New Article.
This will take you to the Article Creator page, where you will enter your article content on the left fields and fill in additional details like the article title and the collection where the article will be shown on the Additional Details sidebar.
In this sidebar, you can also select the Collection under which the article will be shown and choose to Publish the article.
If you have made the article Featured, you can select the Featured Icon that will be shown on the main page in the dropdown menu.
Additionally, you will see an option for you to add a brief excerpt:
If you need to use the article to redirect your customers to another page, you can do so by enabling the option Redirect URL and entering the URL of that page.
You can add SEO tags, like a meta title and a meta description, in the SEO tags fields below the Additional Details section on the right sidebar.
